Fire at Mannat; Shah Rukh Khan & family safe

Shah Rukh Khan and his family suffered a fire scare when a minor fire broke out at the star’s residence at 11 pm yesterday. Reports suggest that the fire was caused due to short-circuit in the electric wiring of the exhaust fan in the bathroom which set off the fire alarm. Acting immediately, Shah Rukh’s security guards alerted the fire control department who dispatched two engines immediately to the actor’s residence. Thankfully the blaze was immediately brought under control without any casualty. Shah Rukh too later tweeted at night: “All safe on the house front. Thanks to all departments concerned. Now that the house is on fire, let’s warm ourselves. Didn’t seem viable though.” Well, full marks to SRK’s sense of humour even in tense situations, we say.
