MUMBAI: The recent Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar turned out to be one of the most impactful episodes in a long time. Both days were power-packed, with Salman Khan leaving no stone unturned in calling out contestants for their mistakes. Viewers thoroughly enjoyed watching him school Amaal Malik, Nehal Chudasama, and Farrhana Bhat, who were in dire need of a reality check.
Adding a special charm to the episode, Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill made an appearance. In her playful banter with Salman, she credited him for shaping many careers in the industry. However, Salman humbly brushed off the compliment.

What followed was a rare and heartfelt moment where Salman Khan addressed the much-talked-about subject of him “making or breaking” careers. The superstar clarified that he neither creates nor destroys anyone’s journey, as it is only God who has that power.
Salman also spoke about the constant allegations against him:
“Bahut logon ne yeh bhi kaha hai ki maine careers barbad kiye. Lekin mere haath mein kisi ka career banana ya bigaadna hai hi nahi. Aaj kal log keh dete hain ‘career khaata hai, career khatam kar deta hai’… Kaunsa career khaya maine? Aur agar khata bhi hoon toh sabse pehle mera hi career khatam ho jaata.”
(Translation: Many people have alleged that I ruin careers. But I don’t have the power to make or break anyone’s career. These days, people say that I finish careers—whose career have I finished? And if I really had that power, my own career would have ended first.)
With this candid statement, Salman once again proved why his words carry weight—not just as a host, but as one of the most grounded superstars of Bollywood.
