Did you know that Imlie actress Ritu Chaudhary essayed the role of Smriti Irani’s (Tulsi) daughter Shobha in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi?

The onscreen mother-daughter duo reunited recently and we wonder if there could be a throwback as major and as good as this one. In her recent Instagram post, Ritu shared a series of lovely pictures with Smriti from their meeting. They have been joined in by the former’s daughter too. Alongside the pictures, Ritu wrote, “Such a pleasure meeting up with you after so long @smritiiraniofficial. Remembering our old days and laughing together once more was just priceless! Love and Respect Always!”

Soon their fans and friends from the television industry dropped hearts on Ritu’s post. Their co-star from Kyunki, Jaya Bhattacharya was amazed at their reunion and wrote, ‘Wow’.

For the unversed, Ritu essayed the role of Tulsi and Mihir’s daughter, Shobha in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Meanwhile, the role of a younger Shobha was essayed by Sunaina fame Palak Jain.

Currently, Ritu is seen in Sumul Tauqeer and Gashmeer Mahajani’s popular show Imlie. Talking about Smriti Irani, the actress-turned-politician is grabbing attention with her massive weight loss transformation.
