MUMBAI: Colors’ Barrister Babu has gained popularity with its attempt at highlighting societal norms, taboos, and superstitions. They also try to give an effective solution to these issues and educate their viewers on right and wrong.

We got in touch with the beauteous Diksha Tiwari aka Tupur and asked him some interesting questions regarding her character, Ketaki's character and a lot more guess what keep your note and pen ready for her answers. 

What were your initial plans before taking up acting?

I just graduated in BSc IT, If I didn't get a break into acting, I would have surely done a 9-5 job that everyone opts for after studying. Acting has been an unconventional journey for me and I feel this is just the beginning to reach more heights. I still have a lot to explore in terms of the character 

You have transformed completely from the earlier Tupur? What made you agree to the character?

Tupur used to usually cry, she followed what others told her to do. I am glad now Tupur has taken a stand for herself and turned stronger than before. The major reason why I agreed to this one was that the character has a sense of Indian history and its women who practically created the society. She belongs to the regressive society but owns the power to change it with her wisdom. Just like Bondita, Tupur also has a battle of her own. 

When you came to know that Tupur will have a burnt mark on her face, what was your reaction to picking such a character?

Tupur is completely opposite to Diksha, this has been a learning experience for me, talking about the burnt mark I feel that every character has its own charm and story, the burnt mark on my face is also a story in itself. This story has a strong message for society so that's why I feel more than the look I believe the personality of the character matters more. 

Are you adjusting to Ketaki's exit? How has it been working with Saumya?

Tapur and Tupur that is Ketaki and I joined the show together, we have had a bond like sisters since the beginning. Sharing the same room and we are super close to each other. When she left the show I was really sad in the initial days. Saumya is adorable, but it will surely take some time to adjust to a new person as Tapur. I surely miss Ketaki a lot as we all adore her.
