Zee TV’s music reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge has reached its final leg and has got its one of the two finalists. This weekend the battle was between Maharashtra and Gujarat and the latter lost out in the competition thereby dashing its hopes to stay in the competition. Maharashtra and Gujarat are led by singer Vaishali Mhade and Parthiv Gohil respectively.

This weekend the battle was between Maharashtra and Gujarat and the latter lost out in the competition thereby dashing its hopes to stay in the competition. Our source from the sets informs, “This was a close call and the judges had a tough time choosing the winners on the show. Gujarat had a stupendous beginning but Maharashtra managed to beat them at the end and emerged out as the winning state in the episode. The celebrity judges on the show were Bappi Lahiri, Kavita Krishnamoorthy and Abhijeet Bhattacharya.”
Now that Maharashtra has reserved its seat in the finals, it remains to be seen which state wins the second semi-final between Assam and Kolkata.
