MUMBAI: Sometime ago SAB TV launched a new show titled Kaatelal & Sons which is produced by Contiloe Pictures.
The show stars Megha Chakraborty and Jia Shankar as the female protagonist while Ankit Mohan and Paras Arora as the male lead.
Inspired by a real story, Kaatelal & Sons will narrate a heartening tale about ‘un-gendering’ your dreams. It brings forth the story of two sisters, Garima (Megha Chakraborty) and Susheela (Jia Shankar), who take on their father’s business of running a local men’s hair salon in Rohtak when adversity strikes. While their father, Dharampal, (Ashok Lokhande) believes that his ancestral shop, aptly named ‘Kaatelal & Sons’, cannot be passed on to his daughters since girls are not meant to pursue such a profession, the daughters are adamant on keeping the shop in the family and taking the business to new heights.
The show has managed to keep viewers hooked with engaging plot. Now, we hear that the show will soon telecast an episode having Lohri special.
This particular episode will star Punjabi singer Sukhbir. He is known to be the prince of bhangra whose evergreen songs from the nineties are still fresh in our mind.
The show lead Megha shared a cool video with Sukhbir where both are seen grooving on Sukhbir’s latest song Nachdi on the sets of Kaatelal & Sons.
